IoT Solutions

Connected device systems that get sensor and hardware data reliably into the cloud, built on MQTT and standard IoT protocols rather than a fragile custom transport.

IoT solutions cover the software side of connected devices: getting data from sensors and hardware onto the network reliably, processing it, and acting on it, whether that's monitoring equipment, tracking assets, or automating a physical process. We build on MQTT and AWS IoT Core for the device-to-cloud communication layer, since these are proven protocols for the specific constraints IoT introduces: intermittent connectivity, limited device power, and high message volume.

The hard part of IoT is rarely the cloud side, it's the reality of physical devices: connections drop, firmware needs updating in the field, and data arrives out of order or duplicated. We design for that from the start: message queuing that tolerates disconnection, device management for firmware updates, and event-driven processing that handles data as it actually arrives rather than assuming a clean, constant stream.

Business benefits

Why this matters for your team

Handles unreliable connectivity

Devices reconnect and resync automatically after a dropped connection, rather than losing data.

Scales to device volume

Message infrastructure built for hundreds or thousands of devices reporting concurrently, not a handful in testing.

Remote firmware management

Devices in the field get updated without a truck roll to physically access each one.

Real-time visibility

Data flows to a dashboard or alerting system as it happens, not on a delayed batch schedule.

Features

What's included

Device connectivity (MQTT)

Lightweight, reliable messaging built for devices with limited power and intermittent network access.

Cloud ingestion pipeline

Sensor data ingested, validated, and routed through AWS IoT Core into storage and processing.

Device management

Provisioning, monitoring, and remote firmware updates for devices already deployed in the field.

Event-driven processing

Data processed as events arrive, triggering alerts or actions instead of waiting on scheduled batch jobs.

Time-series data storage

Sensor data stored in a structure built for the kind of range and aggregation queries IoT data actually needs.

Edge processing logic

Filtering or pre-processing done on the device itself, using Embedded Linux, to cut bandwidth and cloud costs.

1

Scope

We turn your problem into a written scope and a fixed-price or time-and-materials plan, in days, not weeks.

2

Build

Weekly working demos, not a black box until launch. You see real progress every week, not a status slide.

3

Harden

Load testing, security review and edge cases get handled before launch, not after your first incident.

4

Operate

We stay on for support and iteration after launch. No handoff-and-disappear.
